George H. Burgess, D.D.S., P.A.
Providing quality cosmetic and general dentistry in the Tampa Bay area since 1975, Dr. George H. Burgess and his Team have developed a reputation for excellence in the community. This reputation has afforded our practice generations of patient referrals.
Dr. Burgess obtained his undergraduate training at the University of Michigan and University of Florida. He received his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Burgess is a member of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Manatee Dental Society. Dr. Burgess is also a past president of the Manatee Dental Society.

Allison B. - Certified Dental Assistant
Born in Ann Arbor Michigan, raised in North Carolina, she moved to Bradenton in 2000, and has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2001. Allison has attended many dental continuing education courses at the Florida National Dental Congress & the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry annual meetings since 2001. She is skilled in cosmetic tooth whitening, smile design, and shade selection/matching techniques for porcelain veneers and crowns. Outside the office, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband and many friends.
Crystal E. - Registered Dental Hygienist
Born in Augusta GA., Crystal resides in St. Petersburg, FL. She attended St. Petersburg College, and graduated in 2001 with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. Crystal has been with Dr. Burgess for over five years, and she is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. Outside the office Crystal enjoys the arts and spending time with her son and husband.
Debbie D. - Registered Dental Hygienist
Born in St Petersburg, FL Debbie moved to Palmetto in 1989. She attended Manatee Community Colleges Dental Hygiene School and graduated in 2005. Debbie has been with Dr. Burgess for four years and manages our dental hygiene program. Her skills in oral hygiene treatment, oral disease control, and designing customized home care strategies for our patients are outstanding.. Debbie has attended continuing education courses at the Florida National Dental Congress and the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry since 2006. Outside the office, Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and friends.
Stacy B.
Born in Dewitt, Michigan, and has lived in Bradenton for over 22 years. A Manatee High School graduate in 1996. After a short career in nursing Stacy attended Manatee Technical Institutes Dental Assisting Program and graduated in 2002 with her CDA degree. While at MTI Stacy was awarded the ìMost Outstanding Dental Assistant Student award. She has worked in our dental office for over eight years. Stacy is married and has a daughter. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Tammy P. - Dental Assistant, Patient Coordinator, and Business Assistant
As a life long native of Bradenton, FL and a graduate of Southeast High School, Tammy has been with Dr. Burgess since 2002 and has years of experience in dentistry. She loves coming to work every day and truly values our friendly team and fantastic patients. Tammy believes that each and every patient should be treated as family. Outside the office, Tammy likes to go to the beach, participate in outdoor activities, bowl, and spend time with her husband, two children and friends.

Digital X-rays
Using our new, digital X-rays, patients are exposed to up to 90% less radiation than the level associated with traditional X-rays. Digital X-rays are taken with a tiny camera that is placed inside the mouth. Digital X-rays are just one more way we provide top-quality dental care.
Ultra-Sonic Scaler
Simply put, a scaler is our hygienist's way of cleaning your teeth with water – a very controlled, high-pressure stream of water. Our scaler operates on a much shorter frequency, or wavelength, than most scalers. The result is a cleaning that is faster and more comfortable than traditional procedures.
